Rewards Group (starting September 2010)

I am putting together a group of women that want to be in an Usborne Rewards Group. I have 5 people that have committed and we are looking for a few more to boost the rewards each month. If you havent heard of Usborne Books before, they are educational childrens books. My website is www.ubah.com/z2630 if you want to check them out.
This is how it works. Everyone orders books every month (we will have an amout that you need to order depending on how many people join the group) and then one of the months you will get the hostess reward for that month without having a party. You are welcome to get outside orders if you want to boost up the amount of free and half off items.

....here are the fast explanations:

Hosting a Party: All you have to do is invite your friends and family and I do the rest. I will come to your home (or wherever you choose to have your party) and do a 15 minute presentation. All of your guest will get chances to win free and discounted items if they are there for the presentation. Everyone will place their orders and you will receive free and half price books according to the orders that were placed. The great thing about having a party in July and August is that you receive double the free books. Most of my Hostess' receive $70 in free books. Instead of receiving $70 you can receive $140 in free books or more in the next two months.

Referral: If you lead me to a hostess you can receive $20 worth of books and only pay $5 for them at their show.

E-Show: You can host a party that is strictly online. You would send out emails and invitations to order books through my website under your name. You receive the exact same rewards as if you were to host a party at your home.

Book Club:

Option 1: Every month I put in an order for you that needs to be at lease $10. This way you are building your home library on a budget. This is a great way to plan for birthdays and holidays.

Option 2: You are in a group of people who have made a commitment to order a certain amount of books each month for a period of time (Usually $10-$30 orders for 6-12 months). The advantage of choosing this option is that one of those months you receive the hostess reward without having to host a party. If it is your month you are welcome to get any outside orders you want to boost up you free book amount. If you organize a whole group you can receive a $10 book every month for free along with your order.

Becoming an Usborne Consultant: My favorite part of being a consultant is that I can work whenever or how much I want. You make 25% of what you sell and can receive free books every month. There is only one minimum that has to be met and it is in the first 3 months but I take care of it for you so really there are no minimums.

I have had some of my hostess' interested in doing a Usborne Book club. It is not the typical book club but it is fun because you can get free books!!!

This is how it works. I would have you commit to ordering at lease $20 of books a month. Maybe less if we get a lot of people to sign up. This particular group would go for 6 months to a year and every month one of you would get the hostess rewards (free books). This way you are never spending a huge chunk of money and you are building your home library on a budget.

Oh my gosh, Usborne is offering the best kit when you sign up this month. If you sign up before Aug 10th you can get the 10 books and all of your supplies for only $15.00 with free shipping. The longer you wait through the month to sign up the price goes up but is still so much less than normal. This kit is worth $170 so it is a great deal. Call me if you are interested.

I am loving these books. These books should be in every one's home. The more I read the stronger I feel the need to practically give them to people. They are a must. I just read one of Kane Miller's books the other day and I got goosebumps and need to share.

Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge written by Mem Fox and Illustrated by Julie Vivas is my favorite book right now. This books is about a boy who lives next to a nursing home and is friends with all of the patients. When he hears his parents talking about his best friend (a 96-year-old woman who is losing her memory) he is curious what a memory is. His parents give him a few details and he is off to work to find her memory for her.

This is a must have.

The Usborne Book of Princess Stories

This book contains four charming stories about little Princess Alice and her brother Prince Max, who live in Grey Stone Castle. You'll meet a baby dragon, a magic broomstick and an astonishing pig. This book is written by Stephen Cartwright. Every book that Stephen Cartwright writes he puts a little yellow duck to find on every page. This book is called a turn around book which means there is a line on the top of the page to read and there are about two lines on the bottom of the page. If your child is learning to read they can get the full story with reading just the top line, but if they want more details about the story, they can read the bottom lines as well.

I have found what works well is that if you ask your child to read the top line, you will read the bottom lines. This book is adorable and I recommend it to all young readers. This book is available at the low price of $12.99. There are 64 pages of cute stories that are well worth this price.
